I'm a slacker

I admit it. Well, maybe not. This time of year gets extremely busy for me. I try to go in early to work so I can leave early and get some things done around the house but all I do is feel like sleeping. It usually takes me a few weeks to get in gear.

If you look closely you can see that the snow is falling. Way to early for me for this crap to start. It's been cold (bone chilling), and the flurries have gone on all week. Last night we got a pretty good dusting. I so do not like getting up and having to thaw out my car at 4:30 every morning. I swear we are moving south when B graduates and moves out. Texas is sounding pretty good right now.

I have extremely dry skin. My hands take a beating because I work in retail and cardboard sucks the oils right out of my hands. I can never find a hand cream that really helps. Until I found this. I saw a commercial for it and thought I would try it. It's about as close to prescription strength as you can get, not greasy and fragrance free. J even uses it for his alligator elbows. And the best part is it's not expensive.

The next week is going to be another busy week. I'm working every day except Thursday and with Black Friday coming up I won't be posting much. J usually hits the stores later in the day but I never have the energy. I haven't even started shopping yet and I don't know when I'll get my tree decorated. With the addition of the DaisyDog this year I not sure how she is going to react. Asia loves the tree and likes to lie underneath it. But add the dog into the mix and I afraid I'm going to be picking up the tree many times before Christmas is over.

This is from last year. Forgive my ugly minimalistic tree. The cat likes to play with the ornaments. And that tree skirt is like a cat hair magnet. I love my vacuum with its pet hair remover device thingy. One of the best things ever invented.
